Another one of those that hit me in the face shield.  This is a Cottonwood Burl that was just stunning before I started.  This piece is off of the family property at about 6,600′ in the Colorado high country.  Have more of these (and Box Elder) than I’ll ever be able to get to in my life time.  Just a hint of turquoise in the bottom of the bowl to highlight a couple of areas.  I just love burl, you never know what you’re going to get when you turn the lathe on but each one is very unique.
