Here is how I spent my day.  This is how any one of my pieces starts out, generally a trip out of somewhere in the back of my truck.  Everyone of these pieces (with the exception of 1) is a Cedar Burl to be used in table bases, lamps & what-ever else I can think of.  The one that is not a burl is a complete Cedar Blade with limbs still attached set up for a table base.  Just a few hours of work to go.
